surface-disinfection-is-not-enough

Disinfecting the surfaces but not the air?

Is intermittent surface disinfection an effective solution to infection prevention?

As Covid19 raged, offices, restaurants, school and even homes turned up the focus on cleaning and disinfection. Many signed up for daily or weekly disinfection services that involve manual sanitization of frequently touched surfaces or fogging at intervals. Whilst done in good faith, all of the above methods may be ineffective against highly infectious and deadly pathogens such as the coronavirus.

Proven now to be airborne, it spreads easily when an infected person sneezes, coughs or even speaks. The infected particles may remain suspended in the air, potentially infecting others walking in to the area, unawares.

What happens in the hours between the cleaning cycles? How do we mitigate the dangers posed by the pathogens in the air?

The R & D team at oji has worked tirelessly to address these issues and the result was the development of devices that offer continuous, automatic and effective disinfection of both, AIR & SURFACES.

By dissipating an ultra-fine mist of HOCl, with a particle size of only 5 microns, the oji system is able to create a protective grid around the room. With a minuscule particle size and an effective dispersion system, there is no corner too hard to reach!

It even reaches the AC ducts thus cleaning them of germs, allergens and odors!

All of this with a system so safe that it needs no evacuation of people nor a clean up later, as with many sanitization processes.
